Aaron Kwok will not answer personal questions

After tying the knot with Chinese model Moka Fang earlier last month, Hong Kong singer-actor Aaron Kwok has been uncharacteristically open about his private life, no longer avoiding questions about his love life. When reporters questioned the Heavenly King while he out on a shopping date with Moka, who is rumoured to be pregnant, Aaron graciously answered their questions and even shared that he was shopping for a Mother’s Day gift for his mother.

However, at an endorsement event a few days later, Aaron shared that his mother gave him some advice with regards to keeping his personal life out of the limelight recently.

At the event, Aaron was asked once again about the rumours of Moka’s pregnancy. However, instead of deflecting the question with his usual, “We’ll tell everyone if we have good news”, the 51-year-old put his foot down, and explained that while he understood that the reporters had to do their jobs by questioning him about the rumoured pregnancy, he hoped for everyone to respect his privacy.

“I had a meal with my mum during Mother’s Day this year, she reminded me that I had to protect my own family members, and that there was no need for me to report to everyone regarding my family matters everytime,” Aaron shared.

He then confirmed that he will be heeding the advice of his mother, and that he will refrain from discussing matters related to his family in the future.

Aaron and Moka tied the knot in a surprise ceremony which was only revealed hours before it took place on April 18. The ceremony was a simple 10 table affair, with rumours spreading that Moka is currently three months pregnant with the couple’s first child.
