Ady An and her businessman husband Chen Ronglian tied the knot last June, and recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary in Turkey.
The lovebirds have never been shy about expressing their adoration for one another on social media, but a recent post had some netizens guessing that the couple may be expecting their first child together. This comes after rumours of the actress having a failed pregnancy were denied in March.
Ady, who turned 38 on September 29, updated her Weibo with a photo of her husband carrying her in his arms, quipping, “He said that I’m a little heavier than I was last year. I said that this type of weight gain is the kind that makes me happy.”
Netizens were quick to notice that she was wearing a loose-fitting dress and flat-soled footwear in the picture, and looked as though she has gained a bit of weight since they last saw her. That, coupled with her ambiguous post, had many guessing that she could have a bun in the oven.
To add on to the speculation, her work studio has reportedly hinted that “something good has happened” recently, which has convinced netizens that we could be hearing a pregnancy announcement from the actress soon.
