Ady An is expecting her first child

After tying the knot in an extravagant destination wedding two years ago, Taiwanese actress Ady An and her businessman husband, Chen Ronglian, have been enjoying their life together as a wedded couple.

At the start of the year, rumours began swirling once again that Ady was pregnant with the couple’s first child.

On the date of their second wedding anniversary (March 15), the 38-year-old uploaded a post on her Weibo to share a piece of good news with her fans.

Sharing a number of pictures of herself with Ronglian sporting matching outfits, Ady personally confirmed that she is expecting their first child.

“It’s been two years since the Doraemon couple got hitched! Celebrating the fact that our status has been elevated, (causing us to) become Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig. From now on you’ve entered our world and (we’re) really anticipating (your arrival),” she wrote.

According to reports, the couple previously shared the good news with their family and close friends. Ady will be staying in Taiwan throughout her pregnancy, and is also expected to give birth there. The actress' due date is said to be in July or August.

Among her celebrity friends, Taiwanese actresses Kimi Hsia and Bianca Bai were the first to know. Kimi shared that Ady had shared the news with her over a meal.

The actress let on that as she did not have a “shocked" expression when Ady told her that she was pregnant, Ady expressed that she was "a little disappointed and angry".
