Andy Lau’s daughter’s face exposed to the public for the first time

Hong Kong veteran actor-singer Andy Lau is known to be a fiercely private artiste and a protective husband and father to his wife Carol Chu and three-year-old daughter Hanna Lau. When Carol gave birth to Hanna three years ago, the only photo shared of his newborn daughter was one of her baby hands.

A few days ago, Chinese media snapped photos of the three-year-old when she was at the park with her mother in Beijing, revealing her facial features for the first time.

In these pictures, Hanna sported a straight bob cut and has big round eyes, a high nose and full lips, evidently inheriting her parents’ good genes.

Mother and daughter’s visit to the park involved a seven-person entourage including her manager, two bodyguards and two helpers. Carol and Hanna spent quality time at the park during their trip and even had some pictures taken by Carol’s manager.

Sources claimed that the former Malaysian beauty queen was flown to Beijing to celebrate her 49th birthday with Andy as he wanted to stick to his habit of celebrating their birthdays together. However, due to work commitments and a delay in his filming schedule, Andy, who is known to be a responsible actor, volunteered to forgo his break to complete the shoot.

Andy, who once expressed that he would only expose his daughter to the public when she grows up, reacted calmly to pictures of his daughter on the press and said: “Thank you everyone for your concern.”
