Andy Lau updates fans on his condition

Ever since his release from hospital, Hong Kong singer-actor Andy Lau has been taking to his official accounts to update his fans on his condition, a welcome change as updates from the fiercely private Andy are usually far and few in between.

Last Saturday (March 18), Andy uploaded a short clip of himself on his official website. In the video, which is suspected to be out-takes from the commercial he was filming in Thailand, Andy, who is dressed in full cowboy gear, can be seen resting a gun on his shoulder and walking away from the camera.

“Every day, [I’m able to] sit for a while more. Every day, [I’m able to] stand for a while more. One day, I’ll be able take my first step! I, [am] strong,” the 54-year-old wrote.

Earlier this year, Andy Lau fell off a horse while filming a commercial in Thailand and suffered serious injuries as a result. After spending close to two months recuperating in a hospital, the Heavenly King was officially discharged on March 10.
