Angel Han, Tony Sun leave trail of hints about their failed marriage

Taiwanese actors and former spouses Angel Han and Tony Sun have been dropping hints about their failed marriage recently.

Angel, 36, wrote on Facebook yesterday: “Only when you’ve been taken advantage of do you realise how evil people can be; only when you’ve been hurt do you realise that there are those who don’t love you. This is how you learn to face adversities with strength and cherish what you have.”

And on December 16, the actress declared on Facebook that “being a strong-willed woman isn’t my fault — it’s my choice.”

Tony, 37, who held a mini concert on Saturday, said during the performance that “[his] heart is in more pain and agony than you think,” and he added that he didn’t want people to see him unhappy.

The actor mentioned his mother numerous times during the concert. He said he hadn’t spoken to her about his divorce since it happened, which reduced her to tears on the spot. But Tony comforted her by saying, “Don’t worry about me, your son is as tough as you.”

The couple unexpectedly announced their divorce in early October after four years of marriage, and neither has commented on the real cause of the split.
