Singer announces the news on Valentine’s Day
Taiwanese singer and actress Annie Yi, 46, announced on Weibo yesterday that she’s expecting a daughter with her husband, Chinese actor Qin Hao, 37.
Along with an updated ultrasound image, the singer wrote, “It’s a girl.” She included a message to her husband, saying, “As you had hoped for, from now on you’ll be spending every Valentine’s Day with two loves.”
The couple confirmed they were expecting in January, and Annie is now 5 months pregnant. The singer has stopped flying and has been staying in Taiwan to prevent miscarriage.
Since she announced her pregnancy, Annie has been sharing tips on being a mother at a later age, encouraging other women who are trying for children not to give up.
She married Qin Hao last March and has a 13-year-old son, Harrison, from her first marriage to Taiwanese singer and entertainer Harlem Yu, 54.
