Benny Chan’s wife gives birth to fourth child

46-year-old Benny Chan is a father again. The couple first announced in October that they were expecting their fourth child, and on Wednesday (March 30), his wife, Lisa Jiang gave birth to a 3.4 kilograms baby girl via cesarean section.

It was revealed that the couple chose to give birth to their fourth child on March 30 as both Lisa and their eldest daughter was born on November 30, thus they consider the number 30 to be their family’s lucky number.

The actor posted a picture of the three of them on Wednesday afternoon, revealing that Lisa gave birth to their fourth child, Victoria, safely, and that Victoria resembles her second sister, Isabella. He also went on to reveal that his eldest daughter, Elizabeth, has nicknamed the newest addition to their family Lulu.

When asked if he had cut the umbilical cord this time, Benny said, “I’m quite squeamish about these things, but my wife encouraged me to do so, saying that this might be my last chance. However, before I could say yes, the doctor had already cut the cord.”

The actor later added that the family plans to continue having more children.

Benny also divulged that he was actually in the midst of filming for his new movie in China and did not think that he would be able to make it back for the birth. However, the production team made an exception and allowed him to return to Hong Kong to accompany his wife during her delivery.

The actor will be returning to China as soon as possible to resume work and earn money to support his family.
