Yesterday (Mar 2), Taiwanese host Blackie Chen shared his wife, Taiwanese singer Christine Fan’s music and video on his Weibo, and wrote words of encouragement in support for her
amidst the hate she has been receiving lately.

He wrote, “I love your kind and calm personality, and I love you because you keep your cool even when other people are writing hate comments about you. You’ve became braver after you became a mother.”

The 41-year-old singer has been facing backlash from netizens recently, after the rumoured feud between her and Taiwanese singer Angela Chang from 2010 was brought into the limelight again, following Angela’s appearance on Chinese reality singing competition Singer 2018.

When netizens saw Blackie’s post, they left comments calling them “a disgusting family”, and asked them to “bravely admit their mistakes and apologise for what they did”.

In response to the comments, Blackie wrote, “Here is the main point - how do we apologise for something we did not do?”

He then added, “I hope you are living well, because your comment worries me.”

He also shared that Christine is doing her best as a mother and a singer, and professed that he will defend her in the face of all the negativity.

Last week (Feb 23), Christine left a cryptic message on Weibo, and appeared to be responding to the accusations made against her.
