Cecilia Cheung re-enacts 14-year-old movie scene
The former actress appeared on a variety show as her character from 2002 movie 'The Lion Roars'
Hong Kong actress-singer Cecilia Cheung made a rare appearance on a variety show as her character, Moth Liu, from period movie The Lion Roars, which was released 14 years ago.
The 36-year-old, who has taken an indefinite hiatus from showbiz to focus on raising her sons Quintus and Lucas Tse after her divorce from Nicholas Tse, looked like she hasn’t aged a day when she turned up dressed in her character’s clothing and hair.
Cecilia then proceeded to re-enact a scene from the 2002 movie on the show, which impressed fans who flurried to sing praises of the mother-of-two’s flawless skin.
“You age so well, you’re as beautiful as before,” one wrote, while other commented, “Ageless”.
Cecilia has shied away from the public eye ever since her high-profile divorce from Nicholas in 2011 and even relocated to Singapore for a period of time to raise her sons in a more conducive environment. However, little has been said about the reason behind her recent appearance on the variety show.
