Cecilia Cheung stars in Jimmy Lin’s new MV

Taiwanese singer-actor Jimmy Lin will be releasing his new album with the help of his good friend, local singer JJ Lin, to celebrate his 25th year in showbiz. This album marks the 43-year-old singer’s return to the music scene after an 11-year-long hiatus.

According to Taiwan media reports, it was revealed that the singer engaged Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung to star in his new music video, as the actress was spotted in Taipei yesterday (Jan 21) filming the MV. The pair became good friends after they met on the set of 2011 Chinese action film Speed Angels.

Onlookers who saw Cecelia in-action praised her for her good acting skills, as the 37-year-old actress pulled a suitcase along the road and looked forlornly towards the sky, portraying her intended character in the MV.

During filming, Jimmy visited the set in his sports car, much to the actress’s delight as she snapped a photo with his car.

Besides Cecilia, Taiwanese singer and actor Richie Jen was also seen on set filming for an appearance in the MV.

As Cecilia and Richie are not receiving remuneration for their appearance, Jimmy intends to treat them to a meal to express his gratitude for their help.
