Cheryl Yang dismisses rumours about boyfriend’s proposal

Cheryl Yang and her businessman boyfriend named Ben, after 10 months of dating. Rumours are rife that Ben proposed to the Taiwanese actress during their half-a-month-long vacation in America over the recent Chinese New Year holidays.

The couple visited Texas, where Ben, who runs an oil equipment company, studied and worked, and California. They even spent a day in Disneyland, according to recent photos shared by Cheryl on Facebook.

As Cheryl and Ben have been dating for close to a year and their parents have met each other, many believe that Ben took the opportunity to propose to his girlfriend in America, according to Taiwanese media. However, these speculations were quickly dismissed by Cheryl last Saturday via a post on Facebook.

As someone who “respects” the nature of everybody’s work, the 39-year-old wrote a post on Facebook to quash rumours about her boyfriend’s proposal.

“But… some words are better left unsaid and don’t pull things out of thin air,” she said.

Cheryl admitted to her new relationship in June last year after she was spotted on a date with Ben. The couple were introduced by Taiwanese singer Phoebe Huang.
