Daniel Chan plans to marry his wife again

Hong Kong actor-singer Daniel Chan, 39, made a recent TV appearance with his Taiwanese nurse wife Wang Yu Xian on the reality show Go Go Groom last week.

For the first time on camera, Yu Xian shared that she regrets being unable to wear a wedding dress to their wedding last February. She merely wore a traditional Chinese dress or qipao as she was five months pregnant at the time.

The singer-songwriter admitted that when he had heard her desire to wear a wedding dress, he immediately sought help from wedding dress makers to customise a dress that would fit a pregnant woman, just for her.

Daniel also revealed that he plans to remarry Yu Xian just to fulfil her wish. For the sake of his wife’s happiness, he has been personally handling the arrangements and already spent RMB$750,000 (S$162,960) in just one week purchasing decorations to his wife’s liking. His sweet gesture of a re-marriage has earned many praises from netizens.

Although his first born daughter Kathelyn Chan (or “Duo Duo”) just turned 1 yesterday, the couple is already expecting another baby girl to arrive in August.
