Edison Chen is going to be a dad

The ‘bad boy’ of Hong Kong showbiz scene, singer-actor Edison Chen is finally settling down.

Insiders have revealed that Edison’s girlfriend, Chinese model Qin Shupei, is currently eight months pregnant, and is due to give birth next month in Los Angeles, USA.

Edison has also pushed aside all his work commitments to be together with the 27-year-old as she approaches the final stage of her pregnancy.

In August last year, Edison purchased a luxury house in Los Angeles worth US$2.85 million (approximately S$3.99 million), supposedly in preparation for the arrival of their baby. The couple was also spotted shopping at a baby needs store in Japan.

The couple’s relationship was revealed last year when they were spotted smooching on the streets, with Edison admitting that he’s “very happy now”. Edison later went on a tirade against Lin Chiling on Shupei’s behalf, claiming that Chiling had sabotaged Shupei’s work opportunities.
