Elaine Ng heartbroken over daughter’s self-mutilation acts

The former TVB actress Elaine Ng was seen wearing sunglasses throughout her radio show yesterday, for the sake of hiding her swollen eyes. When pressed by the media to reveal what had happened, the heartbroken mother shared that she found out her 16-year-old daughter Etta Ng was inflicting harm to herself yesterday night.

“She kept hiding her hand away from me while looking for something. That’s when I saw her right arm bleeding,” said Elaine.

However, the 42-year-old mother, who was arrested few months ago (March 11) for the alleged abuse of Etta, attributed her daughter’s misbehavior to non-family issues, “She said she cut herself under her friend’s influence. I have discussed the matter with school, we will help her as much as we could.”

Elaine also mentioned that Etta had previous records of cutting herself. The concerned mother was deeply hurt when she found out there were nearly 30 scars on Etta’s arm.

“Some of the scars were deeply cut,” she said, “How am I able to remain calm and rational.”

On the other hand, Etta did not seem to be affected by the incident at all. The young teenage, illegitimate daughter of Elaine and renowned martial artist Jackie Chan, had a great time watching movies with friends.
