Ella Chen celebrates husband’s 41st birthday

Taiwanese singer-actress Ella’s businessman husband, Malaysian Alvin Lai, is on a social media roll. Barely a week after uploading a sneakily-taken video of Ella singing her heart out at home, the 41-year-old uploaded two unglamourous pictures of Ella mid-meal, praising her “beauty."

Last Saturday (March 25), Alvin posted a couple of pictures of Ella and him on Facebook, revealing that they went out for a meal to celebrate his birthday.

“I’m 41 today! Thank you for all your birthday wishes! This year, the most special present is that this beautiful young lady is giving our family a new member,” he wrote, praising Ella, who is currently pregnant, for being “so beautiful, so great and so brave."

The businessman then uploaded four pictures of the couple, two of which showed Ella mid-meal, with her nose pointed up at him.

Alvin also shared that he’s really looking forward to the arrival of their son, although he’s nervous as a “first-time dad."

The couple tied the knot close to five years ago. They are expecting their first child, a boy, who is due to be born in the first half of this year.
