Ethan Ruan, Tiffany Hsu live separate lives after breakup
One dines out with friends, the other checks into hospital
Another nail in the coffin of Taiwanese actor Ethan Ruan’s eight-year relationship with actress Tiffany Hsu: Taiwan media reports the actor was seen last weekend eating out with friends during a break in between filming projects, while Tiffany checked into a hospital after being ill for weeks and was placed under observation. This marks close to six months since Tiffany confirmed their separation.
When Tiffany’s manager was asked whether Ethan had stopped by to visit the actress, she declined to comment. Ethan’s manager also declined to say whether the actor knew about Tiffany’s hospitalisation.
Ethan was spotted picking up a number of friends and heading to an eatery at about 6 pm, even serving beer to the party. He only drank sugarless green tea, because he had offered to be the designated driver.
An hour later, the group headed outside after dinner to smoke, and when Ethan drove everyone home he was seen stopping illegally many times.
Over the same weekend, Tiffany checked into hospital for an endocrine disorder. The actress had been ill with a cough since returning from a vacation in Paris in August.
