Fala Chen confirms that she is married

After almost a week of speculation, Fala Chen has confirmed that she and French entrepreneur Emmanuel Straschnov are married.

The photo, which was posted on her Instagram page and showed her and Emmanuel holding hands with their respective wedding bands on, was captioned with a simple heart. Fala also thanked fellow actress Leanne Li for her comment, “Congrats Fafa!!! Welcome to the wife club (sic)”.

Fala and Emmanuel are said to have held a private ceremony in his birth country, France, which was only attended by family and close friends. Her Instagram post, which was geotagged with “Paris, France”, has bolstered this claim.

The pair met when she was studying for her master’s degree in the US, and they are said to have been dating for over two years before tying the knot.

Fala was previously married to Neway Entertainment heir Daniel Sit for five years, but they filed for divorce in 2013. He shared that she recently contacted him telling her that she is getting married, and that he has given the couple his blessings.
