Fish Leong celebrates son’s first birthday early

Fish Leong celebrated her son Anderson Chiu’s first birthday in advance with close girlfriends Christine Fan, Pace Wu, Jia Yongjie and other friends over the weekend. The Malaysian singer gave birth to her firstborn last April.

For the early celebration, Fish prepared traditional food items like ang ku kueh, the mother of one also prepared other items such as leek, garlic, apples, chicken and rice cakes for her son to pick and choose – a traditional practice which is said to predict a person’s future.

After the party, Fish happily posted some photos and wrote: “I’m very happy that everyone came to the early celebration. Anderson even caught the piano and gold ingot!” The father, James Chao, jokingly said, “Could he be the next Wang Leehom?”

One of the photos shows Anderson pictured with a cute little girl and fans could not help but comment that it looks as if he’s “trying to pick her up.”
