Gillian Chung’s husband picks up the lunch tab for wife

Gillian Chung and her close pal Charlene Choi when it was reported that the 27-year-old picked up the tab although he was not present at their lunch outing.
According to Hong Kong media, the TWINS singers met up recently with two kids in tow amidst their busy individual work schedules. The girls shared pictures of their outing on social media and it was shortly revealed that Michael had paid for their gathering when Charlene hashtagged the post with: “Many thanks to Mr. Lai for picking up the tab.”
The Taiwanese doctor was also praised by Gillian’s fans for proactively “reporting” his whereabouts to his wife on social media when he posted two pictures of him and his male colleagues at work.
Gillian and Michael have yet to officially register their marriage although they have held a ceremony in Los Angeles in May. The couple intend to register their marriage within the year and will be holding a second banquet in Taipei in September and a third in Hong Kong in December.
