Gillian Chung to Charlene Choi: I’ll stay with you
Charlene celebrates 33rd birthday with the other half of pop duo Twins
Hong Kong singer Charlene Choi (aka Ah Sa) celebrated her 33rd birthday yesterday, and at the stroke of midnight Gillian Chung sent over birthday greetings via Weibo.
“My dearest Sasa, happy birthday!” Gillian wrote. “I wish you’ll be happy forever and that you’ll meet your dream guy soon, but until then I’ll stay with you!”
Their manager, Mani Fok, congratulated Charlene on turning a year older: “Happy birthday to Sasa, may you be surrounded by happiness, and we love you forever!”
Gillian and Charlene make up the Cantopop duo Twins, which has been in the music business for 15 years, and the pair will be performing at the Hong Kong Coliseum for five consecutive nights over New Year’s Day.
The day before Charlene’s birthday happened to be Hong Kong actor William Chan’s 30th birthday. The two dated for five years until this September.
