Harlem Yu indirectly admits to new love

Harlem Yu has indirectly admitted to his budding romance six years after splitting from former wife, Annie Yi.

Earlier this month, reports that he was seeing Taiwanese news anchor Jinny Chang emerged after the two were spotted spending the night together at his studio. His previous relationship with his wife spanned a total of 22 years before they called it quits. She has since tied the knot with Chinese actor Qin Hao in a wedding in Phuket this March.

Last September, Annie’s Weibo update of “We both have our special someone in our hearts” caused speculation over who Harlem’s object of affection might be. He is said to have been introduced to Jinny by a mutual friend as she fits his ideal type of a “filial and thrifty person who enjoys exercising”.

Jinny’s colleagues have revealed that she has kept a low profile even after the rumours circulated and that nobody has dared broach the subject with her although those around her have gossiped about the rumoured romance.

They continued, “She’s easy to be around and gets along well with everyone. However, after work, she usually gets picked up by her boyfriend immediately and has her own personal life she keeps away from everyone else.”

Harlem updated his personal Facebook account with a picture of himself in exercise gear, musing, “It’s great to have friends; thanks everyone for your concern,” adding on, “donning this purple gear with bananas, it’s like I’m invincible with this special armour!”
