Have Jolin Tsai and Vivian Dawson gotten back together?

Jolin Tsai and Vivian Dawson’s breakup was splashed all over the headlines last December, but it seems that the split, then attributed to personality differences, was not the end as the pair is rumoured to have rekindled their romance.

Over the weekend on August 19, Jolin and Vivian were spotted at the restaurant Sugar Pea, where they chatted over dinner and looked to be in good spirits. They were also seen peering at each other’s phone from time to time, and were clearly comfortable with one another.

A patron at the restaurant shared that he first noticed Vivian first, who towers over most at a height of 1.89m. He added that he only noticed that Vivian’s dining partner was Jolin afterwards, and noted that the pair spent over two hours at the restaurant before calling it a night.

When asked for clarification if the former couple has decided to give their relationship a second chance, Vivian’s manager shared, “The two of them are still friends, and going out for dinner isn’t something out of the ordinary.”

He continued that Vivian was slated to head to Southeast Asia for half a month and that he specially found time despite his busy schedule to have a meal with Jolin. However, he continued that they “do not usually ask about our artistes’ personal matters”.

Jolin’s manager simply reiterated that the pair are still friends, and did not comment further on the speculations.

Jolin and Vivian are believed to have dated from 2010 and ended their six-year relationship last year. There were varied possible reasons that were speculated to be behind the split, ranging from Vivian being active on dating app Tinder even while dating Jolin, to differing opinions on marriage.
