Hawick Lau washes Yang Mi’s lingerie
The actor shared about his married life and his duties as a father
Hong Kong actor Hawick Lau and his wife, Chinese actress, Yang Mi may be one of the most well-known celebrity couples in China but their private lives have always been kept out of the limelight.
Fans have recently shared a footage from a previous variety show episode where Hawick talked about their married life and confessed that he ‘gets intimate’ with his wife up to five times a day (according to him, the term “intimate” meant doing simple, romantic gestures for his wife). He even disclosed that he had once helped her wash her underwear and called himself a “natural” at it.
It also seems that the couple have put the rumours about Hawick cheating on Yang Mi with his drama co-star Angel Wang, behind them, as the actor revealed just how honest and trusting they were with one another.
“She knows the password to my phone and I would not mind if she looks at my stuff,” Hawick shared.
When he was asked to describe Yang Mi, the 43-year-old actor called her the personal babysitter of their 3-year-old daughter, nicknamed ‘Xiao Nuo Mi’. Despite being slightly reluctant to share about his only child, Hawick said that he was in the delivery room alongside Yang Mi during the birth and had also helped cut her umbilical cord.
He also emphasised that he wished to give her a normal childhood so he would be fiercely protective over her and avoid sharing photos of her on social media.
Hawick and Yang Mi tied the knot in 2014 and the family of three can often be seen on outings together.
