Hu Ge seen leaving hotel with Cecilia Liu’s former schoolmate

Chinese actor Hu Ge, 33, was spotted in December leaving a hotel in China with a woman, later identified as Lin Xiao, a former schoolmate with actress Cecilia Liu at the Beijing Dance Academy.

In response to questions on his relationship status, Hu Ge wrote on Weibo: “Thank you all for your concern, in future I hope you will give me some space and let me live a regular, simple life when I’m not filming,” which read like an admission that he was seeing someone new.

In December Hu Ge’s assistant picked up Lin Xiao from an airport and the next night the actor headed into the hotel room she was staying yet. The pair emerged together the following morning.

Lin Xiao is reportedly from a well-to-do family: Her father is a businessman with dealings in real estate, hospitality and food and beverage, and her mother is an associate professor at a provincial-level hospital.

Hu Ge, known for his roles in the drama series Nirvana In Fire and Chinese Paladin, has dated a string of Chinese actresses in the past, including Xue Jia Ning, Maggie Jiang (or Jiang Shu Ying), and Yang Mi, who’s now married to Hawick Lau.
