Hu Ge spotted in America

Chinese actor Hu Ge seems to have adjusted back to life as a civilian pretty well, with pictures of the 34-year-old having a meal in America surfacing online.

The actor, who is currently studying at the language institute at San Jose University in California, can be seen munching on a donut alone, in casual clothes.

Some fans questioned the authenticity of the photos as they believe he’s not the type to grow out his facial hair. A few days later however, more pictures of Hu Ge attending his classes with an unshaven face popped up online, confirming that the man in the diner was indeed the actor.

This time, the actor did not bother to style his hair at all, with his fringe flopping into his eyes and a pensive expression.

Upon seeing the pictures, his fans could not help but to exclaim, “Are you having a hard time at school? Is that why you look so dispirited?”

After much speculation, Hu Ge announced in February this year that he will be taking a 2-year break from showbiz to further his studies in America.
