Huang Xiaoming reveals the reason why Angelababy married him

Power couple Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy have always been open about their relationship with each other, and have shared nuggets of information about their romance with the public on numerous occasions.

This time around, Xiaoming was a guest on talk show A Date with Luyu, where he revealed the simple, yet touching reason why his wife decided to trust him and marry him. He explained that Angelababy once asked him, “Do you know why I felt that you’re a good person?” and told him the exact reason.

As it turns out, Angelababy noticed that Xiaoming’s father would always be sure to order an extra serving of good food that he ate outside to bring home to his wife to enjoy, something she shared was very touching. “This is how I knew that you’d definitely be someone I can entrust the rest of my life to,” she shared.

Xiaoming chuckled that he learned a lot from his father, especially about how to pamper your wife. “It was only after that when I realised that it was true that much of my habits are because of my upbringing,” he said.

The actor let on that his life has also changed after meeting Angelababy. From a former workaholic, he expressed that his life has now “become much more colourful”, and that he has learned to think for his family, especially his wife and child. “I’d ask myself how I would feel if I didn’t do something well and my son sees it in future?” he explained.

He also has become more fearful of plane rides and doesn’t take risks any longer, as he admitted that he worries about what would happen to his family if something should happen to him.
