I’m not Jerry Yan’s current girlfriend: Lin Chi-ling

Last month, Jerry Yan made the headlines when he thanked a mystery girlfriend during a fan meeting in Osaka, Japan. At the time, he made a passing comment of needing to give the “most thanks to my girlfriend who accompanied me on set.”

However, he refused to comment more on his girlfriend despite questions about her identity and how long they’ve been dating.

After the fan meeting, some wondered if this was the actor’s way of saying that he had reunited with his ex-girlfriend Lin Chi-ling, speculation that was not addressed until almost a month later.

Chi-ling finally cleared the air when she was asked about it at an event this week. The model, whom reports said had an awkward expression on her face after she was asked about it, denied that she is dating Jerry with a short, “I don’t think he was talking about me.”

With that aside, she told reporters that she wishes him the best with his new relationship. At the same time, she quipped that she’s been enjoying her singlehood because she has enough time for herself. However, she continued that she still hopes to find her Mr. Right one day, although she will not force herself and leave it up to fate instead.
