Is Cheer Chen married?

Taiwanese singer-songwriter Cheer Chen has been in a stable relationship with her producer boyfriend, Tiger Chung for 13 years. The duo are also in a band, The Verse. Although both parties are decidedly private about their relationship, the lovebirds have been continuously working on music together.

It is believed that Cheer’s 2002 song, ‘Groupies’ was made to confirm the couple’s relationship, with Tiger composing the melody and Cheer writing the lyrics.

Last Saturday (September 22), Cheer performed at her solo concert in Shanghai dressed in a simple blue dress. However, what caught the eye of the fans present was a ring on Cheer’s left hand. Apart from a costume ring on her right hand, which was provided by her stylist, Cheer also sported a simple ring on her left ring finger, which many believed to be her wedding band.

Cheer and Tiger have been caught up in numerous wedding rumours over the course of their relationship. However, the rumours were all eventually denied by Cheer. When reached for a comment on the issue, Cheer’s work studio shared that the ring was something that Cheer always wore when she performed. However, they did not know if it was a wedding ring, as it was something that’s part of Cheer’s private life and could therefore make any comments about it.
