Is Shu Qi expecting a bun in the oven?
The actress’s conflicting social media posts raises suspicions
Taiwanese actress Shu Qi’s social media posts have come under extreme scrutiny of late, as netizens comb through her postings for hints of her expecting a bun in the oven.
Shu Qi had recently ranted on Facebook about being unable to eat a number of food lately, causing netizens to suspect that the actress might be pregnant.
Then, the 40-year-old, who tied the knot with Stephen Fung recently, posted a picture of her wine date with good friends Ruby Lin and Kelly Lin yesterday night, seemingly to dispel the rumours. In the picture, both Shu Qi and Kelly can be seen raising up half-empty wine glasses, while Ruby, who is currently pregnant, posed with a flower instead.
However, this morning, Shu Qi posted picture of her bag, along with a pin meant for pregnant women. Although the actress did not mention the pin in the caption, fans started guessing that Shu Qi might just be pregnant after all.
To add fuel to the fire, good friend Vivian Hsu also commented on Shu Qi’s picture with Ruby and Kelly, “The days of being unable to hold a wine glass”, furthering igniting the public’s curiosity.
