‘It was especially good’: Rainie Yang on Li Ronghao’s kiss on the cheek
Rainie Yang will be staging a year-end concert in the Taipei Arena
Taiwanese singer Rainie Yang held a press conference yesterday to announce her “end-of-year good news.” She would be holding her ‘Youth Lies Within’ concert at the Taipei Arena on Dec 16 and tickets go on sale today. She also said that she was worried as the stage at the arena was visible from all four corners, leaving her no room for mistakes.
Following a four-year break, the singer admitted that she was very nervous as she was unsure what the fans expected of her currently.
“It is also my first time performing on such an open stage so I think I am more anxious than usual,” said the singer.
When asked by Taiwanese host Matilda Tao about how she felt towards her boyfriend Li Ronghao giving her a public kiss on stage during his concert, the singer said her mood was “especially good” after and that Ronghao did not have to apologise as she would not be angry over such gestures.
She also laughed at Matilda’s comment of her joining the “Mrs Li club”, which consisted of actress Fan Bingbing and Matilda herself, as both of their husbands’ surnames were Li.
As to whether the 33-year-old singer had thought of Ronghao proposing on stage, she said that she “could not answer for him” but personally thinks “it would not happen” as he has a performance the same day.
She insisted that she was in no hurry to get married and was still focusing on her career at the moment.
Rainie and Ronghao have been dating since 2015 after they posted an intimate picture on Facebook.
