Jay Chou, Hannah Quinlivan’s playful banter revealed

Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan confirmed on Valentine’s Day this year that they are expecting their second child, a boy. The couple have long expressed their wish to expand their brood after welcoming Hathaway to the family in 2015.

Currently five months pregnant, Hannah is still busying herself with work and has managed to maintain her svelte figure despite being halfway through her pregnancy.

In a late night Facebook update on May 1, the 23-year-old posted a photo of herself preparing a snack with the caption, “I got hungry in the middle of the night but got laughed at. ‘What are you doing? Are you hungry again?’ What I’m having is nutritious and non-fatty chicken essence!”

Her accompanying hashtags, ‘pregnant women get hungry easily’ and ‘it’s the baby who’s hungry, not me’, had netizens in stitches. Although Jay was not directly named in the post, it’s believed that the person who poked fun at her supper cravings was him.

Apart from expressing their envy at the couple’s close relationship, netizens also voiced their support for Hannah having more meals, with some commenting that she doesn’t have to pay too much attention to her figure when pregnant.
