Jay Chou offers food to paparazzi tailing him and Hannah Quinlivan

Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, 37, whose intense dislike for paparazzi is well-known, demonstrated a change in attitude when he offered food to the reporters tailing him and his wife, actress and model Hannah Quinlivan, while they were out for dinner on Tuesday night.

According to Taiwanese media, the singer was seen driving his SUV and Hannah was in the car. The two got out of the vehicle and made their way into a restaurant.

About an hour later, they emerged carrying bags of takeout. When Jay discovered they were being followed, he walked over to where the media had parked their vehicles with the food he had bought.

Jay knocked on a car window and politely asked what the reporters were up to. “Did anyone tip you off? the singer said.

When the media replied that they just happened to be there, Jay looked doubtful and asked, “How could that be?” He then offered his takeout to the reporters, who tried to turn it down.

Instead of being annoyed with their refusal, Jay said calmly, “Just take it, it’s awkward for me to stand here like this.”

The singer seems to have mellowed after marrying Hannah last January and becoming a father in July.
