Jay Chou’s luxury penthouse revealed

Jay Chou’s luxury penthouse is revealed to have cost a whopping NT$660 million (S$28.54 million). The property is located in Peace Garden and his unit has a bird’s eye view of Taipei. The developer shared that the project took over 10 years to complete as planning, construction and more was done carefully to ensure the quality of the final building.

According to reports, Jay purchased the penthouse late last year and has spent close to a year on interior design, which is yet to be completed. As such, the family is likely to only be able to move in after the Lunar New Year holiday next year.

The living space on the first floor is said to be designed by famed designer Lorenzo Tondelli, and Jay is reported to be very satisfied with the final product.

Construction manager, Wu Lijin, shared, “Tondelli’s work takes time to complete and everyone has given him time and space to work his magic on the unit. The designing takes about a year, and the construction period might take another ryear. From the bookshelves to stone columns, every aspect of the area has to be personally checked and decided upon by him.”
