Local singer JJ Lin gave the public a surprise today when he posted a live broadcast on Facebook, revealing that he was at the launch of the new iPhone X. The new phone comes as part of Apple’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
It had previously been speculated that the singer was in America for either work or a vacation but his two latest Facebook live videos revealed that he was actually there for the special events held by Apple, at its new headquarters in the Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The first video was of him attending the talk about the new phone and the other of him touring the campus.
In addition, the 36-year-old singer was also seen chatting and taking pictures with Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook.
“It was an amazing experience to witness the next step in technology and see how the team continues to push boundaries and change lives through their core beliefs,” wrote JJ.
This is not the first time that JJ and Tim have been seen together. Last year, JJ flew to Beijing to partner up with Tim to promote Apple’s GarageBand app where the two were seen jamming out together.
The iPhone X will be officially available in Singapore on Nov 3 but it appears that JJ may be the first Singaporean to get his hands on it.
