Jolin Tsai goes out to perform while beau stays home

Taiwanese pop singer Jolin Tsai, 35, left her boyfriend, model Vivian Dawson, at her home when she went out to perform, leading to rumours that the couple are living together.

However, her manager denied this and said Vivian has his own place, and Vivian’s manager said the same.

Jolin and Vivian were spotted returning together to her place after a date recently, and she soon left to get ready for a performance, but Vivian didn’t appear with her.

The pop singer went to a salon to have her hair done, and then she headed to the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall for a Taiwan Mobile event, where she performed a 45-minute set and earned about NT$5 million (approximately S$210,000).

During the show, a male employee wearing a safety helmet decorated in the style of her ‘Medusa’ headpiece caught her attention, and she invited him on stage to sing.

After he did, she turned to the crowd and asked, “How did he do? Does he deserve a kiss from me?” The man pointed to his lips, but Jolin said, “I can’t kiss you on the lips, I’m sorry,” and planted a peck on his cheek.
