Taiwanese singer-actress Jolin Tsai held the Malaysian stop of her PLAY World Tour yesterday, despite the rainy weather.

Even though her concert was held at an outdoor venue, fans turned up in full force, undeterred by the rain.

As Jolin is known for her catchy dance tracks, a large part of the concert setlist was dedicated to them. During one of her songs, the 35-year-old took a tumble as the rain had caused the stage to be a lot more slippery than usual.

After her fall, Jolin immediately went backstage to check on her injuries, and later emerged in a new pair of shoes to continue performing to ‘I’m Not Yours’. While she looked to be alright, eagle-eyed fans immediately spotted a bruise on her shoulder.

Later, Jolin’s manager explained that it had been raining since late afternoon and the stage was extremely slippery. Jolin also happened to be performing in a pair of high heels that day which caused her to slip.

The manager also added, “When she went backstage just now, Jolin said her feet didn’t hurt. After the bruise on her shoulder faded however, she realised that her feet was indeed hurting her.”
