Jordan Chan, Cherrie Ying take wedding photos again

Hong Kong actress Cherrie Ying, may have only guest-starred in one episode of Chinese reality show Where Are We Going, Dad? to show her support for her husband, Jordan Chan, but she has already become a fan favourite guest. The most recent episode of the show saw her and Jordan, along with their 4-year-old son Jasper, having to live in a mountainous village area that was mostly inhabited by the minority ethnic group, the Miao people.

In behind the scenes footages, the family of three put on traditional costumes of the Miao and explored the outskirts of the village. When they were walking in an alley, Cherrie suddenly commented that the grand and beautiful outfits, along with the scenery, made it feel like she and Jordan were about to have their wedding photos taken.

The couple then played into this idea and began imitating a wedding photoshoot, having lots of fun by giving different ‘wedding poses’. However, little Jasper did not understand what was going on and simply looked on at his parents’ hilarious antics.

“You’re just a little melon, you’re still too young to understand,” Jordan playfully said to Jasper, as he jokingly shooed his son away.

As the actor had always been a rather strict father on the show, this rare and adorable father-son interaction delighted the audience.

Jordan was also not afraid to display his affectionate side towards Cherrie, constantly showering her with hugs and kisses. He even asked her to “stay for one more night” on the day that she was supposed to leave, after the filming for her episode commenced.

Jordan married Cherrie on Valentine’s Day in 2010 in Las Vegas.
