Taiwanese actor Kai Ko shocked many yesterday morning after he posted an image on Instagram, with the caption: "Will anybody care if I’m dead?”

The post, which has since been deleted, had an image with a lipstick mark on it. Many then began to fear if he had thoughts of committing suicide as he also posted an expressionless selfie which read “goodbye” the same night (Dec 18) of SHINee’s Jonghyun’s passing.

In addition, his followers also noticed that the 26-year-old actor had deleted more than half of his Instagram posts made this year, fuelling speculations that he wanted to forget everything about his life.

However, Kai has stepped out and apologised to his fans for causing unnecessary panic. He also affirmed that “it was just a temporary feeling” and that “life is good.” However, he has since cleared out his Instagram account, and has no posts on it at press time.

Kai has taken on fewer acting projects following his marijuana scandal back in 2014. Many felt that the three-year delayed release of his movie, A Choo, along with his recent split from his girlfriend, actress Tia Li, could be contributing factors to him feeling down recently.
