Kenneth Ma’s mother does not approve of Jacqueline Wong

Hong Kong actor Kenneth Ma’s mother does not approve of his relationship with fellow actress Jacqueline Wong, Hong Kong media reports. She blames it on the actress’ dressing and lavish spending ability, discouraging Kenneth from bringing her home. Although the pair have not publicly announced their relationship, they have been caught up in dating rumours for a few years now.

According to an insider source, Kenneth recently purchased a new apartment last year for his whole family. He has occupied the master bedroom so that his girlfriend could come over and spend the night. However, things may change following his mother’s disapproval.

At the same time, Jacqueline has also purchased her own apartment in advance for moving in next year, already having plans to cohabitate with Kenneth for more “privacy.” Unfortunately for Kenneth, he is now stuck between a rock and a hard place and faces the possibility of offending either his mother or Jacqueline with his decision to move in – or not.

However, Jacqueline has spoken out that the apartment was for herself, to experience living on her own independently and further denied any claims about her moving in with Kenneth. She also added that she had not met his mother in person yet and felt that now was not the right time.

Jacqueline and Kenneth are set to co-star as lovers in the TVB Anniversary drama Deep in the Realm of Conscience, premiering later in the year.
