Li Ronghao reveals his pet name for Rainie Yang

her boyfriend, Chinese singer Li Ronghao, took to Weibo at midnight to express his well-wishes in a short but sweet post.

“Here’s wishing my young lady a happy birthday,” he wrote. While Ronghao usually keeps his relationship with Rainie low-profile, he has made it a point to send his birthday greetings at midnight every year since they announced they were dating in 2015.

Seeing Ronghao’s sweet post, fans too sent their birthday wishes to Rainie and urged the couple to tie the knot soon.

Rainie also shared several photos she took with her birthday cake over Instagram, and expressed her happiness at having a “simple” birthday celebration with her family members.

“I feel really blessed and satisfied,” she wrote, “Although everything is ordinary and simple, I enjoy spending my birthday with my family members.”

Last month, Rainie attended NINE PERCENT vocalist, Chen Linong’s first meet-the-media session in place of Ronghao, who mentored him on Chinese reality survival programme Idol Producer. At that time, she referred to herself as the “mentor’s wife”, causing many to speculate that she was hinting at her upcoming nuptials.
