Lin Chi-ling keeps mum on reunion with Jerry Yan

News of Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling and Taiwanese actor-singer Jerry Yan’s reunion made waves amongst fans early last month when the ex-couple were spotted together in Malaysia. However, Chi-ling has yet to comment on the issue directly, with news and speculations coming in from the couple’s close friends or company representatives instead.

On Wednesday (December 13), Chi-ling made an appearance at a promotional event, where she was quizzed about her relationship with Jerry.

However, the 43-year-old would only say that the duo are still “reconnecting with each other,” and that she’s on the same page as everyone else when it comes to their relationship.

When reporters went on to ask if the model-actress’s relationship with Jerry was more than just friendship, Chi-ling replied, “I have no way to answer [this], saying too much[might make everything] end in failure,” before going on to say that though time may not be on their side, they hope to be able to get to understand and know [each other] more.

“I want to listen closely to the voice of my heart, and I hope for everyone to give me a little space,” Chi-ling said.

Chi-ling and Jerry dated for six years before going their separate ways in 2006. They have constantly been surrounded by rumours of them getting back together and were even said to have gotten married in secret, but these claims have since been denied by both parties.
