Lin Chi-ling on her single status: Maybe the problem lies with me

Kevin Tsai and Dee Hsu recently made headlines for their new variety series, Zhen Xiang Ba! Hua Hua Wan Wu, not meeting viewers’ expectations.

However, the programme has drawn attention – this time in a good way – for their recent celebrity guest’s candid talk about her love life. The star was none other than Lin Chi-ling, who has famously dated actor Jerry Yan.

A preview of the upcoming episode was posted on Weibo yesterday, in which Dee asked Chi-ling, “Was Jerry Yan the only person you’ve ever dated?” In response, the model would only say, “Please don’t make things difficult for me.”

Dee then continued that Chi-ling is known to be a sentimental person, and asked her point-blank if she still keeps photos and mementos of her past relationship. “You’ll look through them once in a while and shed tears, won’t you?” Dee pressed.

In the video, Chi-ling’s only response was a slight nod as her eyes turned glassy.

As for why she is currently single, Chi-ling mused, “Perhaps the problem lies with me.”
