The Hong Kong actress’ market rate increased drastically after giving birth

Linda Chung paid $35,000 an hour now

Hong Kong actress Linda Chung has finally returned to Hong Kong after almost a 10-month hiatus, after she tied the knot in Vancouver, Canada to chiropractor Jeremy Leung and gave birth to baby daughter Kelly Leung in August this year. She then delayed her return to showbiz to take care of Kelly, sparking rumours about her having thoughts of retiring from the entertainment scene for good.

Despite popular belief that her star appeal may take a hit after getting married and becoming a mother, it seems like Linda’s long absence from the Hong Kong entertainment scene have caused her market price to rise drastically.

The 32 year-old, who is back to attend an event for a brand and will only be staying in Hong Kong for 43 hours before her flight back to Vancouver at 1 am tomorrow, will be raking in a whopping HK$200,000 (estimated S$35,000) from her one-hour appearance. This is apparently a rocketed amount compared to what charged when she was single.

It was also said that other than being back for work, Linda will also be spending some time to visit her friends and family.
