Mayday’s Life Tour might be coming to a close after almost two years of touring, but fans of the group will be glad to hear that they have plenty to look forward to. The quintet finished their last show in the mainland on August 26 with three days of concerts at the Beijing National Stadium.

At their last show, they held a press conference where they announced that their concert tour will be made into a movie, MAYDAY LiFE 3D, which is slated for a 2019 release. It is reported that all footage from the concert was filmed with 4K resolution equipment, and that the 20 cameras used for filming are top of the line.

In addition, a teaser video released on Mayday’s official Facebook account showed that the cameras also got up close and personal with the members, showing all of them in their element as they rocked out on stage.

Ashin teased that they invited some celebrity friends to make appearances in the movie as well, and revealed that Taiwanese singers aMEI, Jolin and Chinese actor Huang Bo are among those who will be included.

With the tour coming to a close soon, Monster shared at the press conference, “I’m a little bit sad that I’ll have to say goodbye to taking airplanes so often. When I think of the fans who showed us their support at every single city that we went to, I feel very grateful and touched at the same time.”

As for the group’s plans after the tour ends, the group shared that they will start work on their 10th studio album. Ashin teased, “After the tour ends we’ll take about half a year to settle down, then recharge ourselves for another six months… If you add it all together, we’ll probably be away for three to four years. Mayday won’t be disturbing anyone for the time being, so your ears can take a good rest.”
