Michelle Chen, Chen Xiao seen in Beijing airport

Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen, 32, was seen yesterday afternoon at Beijing Capital International Airport with her fiance, Chinese actor Chen Xiao, 28.

The couple, dressed in matching black coats, were said to be on their way to Chen Xiao’s hometown of Hefei, Anhui province, for Michelle to be introduced to her future in-laws.

Michelle and Chen Xiao are widely expected to hold their wedding next year. While appearing at a promotional event recently, Chen Xiao said, “She’s really busy during this period, and I’m filming too, so we’ll prepare for the wedding next year.”

And regarding rumours that he was renovating his house to have it ready for Michelle, the actor said, “I bought the house long ago, and I’ve been wanting to renovate it ever since.”

The couple got engaged last month with a proposal on the Seine river in Paris. They met while starring as a pair of lovers in the 2014 drama series The Romance of the Condor Heroes.
