Michelle Chen expecting baby boy?

Girl or boy? Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen was thought to be expecting a daughter when she was spotted shopping for pink baby clothes last month, but rumour has it that she was actually buying male baby clothes.

An eagle-eyed netizen pointed out that the clothes Michelle bought were for a baby boy as the buttons were on the right side, while female baby clothes would have buttons sewn on the left side.

Furthermore, the 33-year-old accidentally exposed the gender of her child after she said in an interview that “I hope that my child and I can communicate like sister and brother”.

However, the actress has not responded to any of the rumours, while her husband Chen Xiao said through his manager that “[The baby] is due at the end of the month, probably a Capricorn baby. As for the gender of the baby, we will definitely share the good news when the baby arrives”.

Michelle registered her marriage with Chen Xiao this July on his birthday after announcing that she is three months pregnant, and the couple tied the knot at an outdoor wedding shortly after. The actress, who is eight months pregnant, is currently taking a break from acting to focus on preparations for labour.
