Michelle Chen hosts baby shower
The actress organised an intimate gathering with close friends weeks before her baby’s due date
Just weeks before the expected arrival of her first child, friends of Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen seized the opportunity to organise a baby shower for her. Although the idea of a baby shower before delivery is less common among Asians (who usually only have it one month after the birth of the child), the actress’ friends managed to put together a successful one.
For the mini party, Taiwanese singer Rainie Yang, Jennifer Muchieh Lin and Yang Xin specially prepared a dessert table suitable for expectant mothers to ensure that Michelle was also able to enjoy the spread. They also came with gifts for Michelle’s baby in preparation for its arrival.
Ever since her flash marriage to Chinese actor Chen Xiao this July, the actress went on a hiatus to focus on preparing for labour but she was spotted doing some last-minute shopping for baby clothes recently, which got fans speculating the gender of her baby.
Boy or girl, it looks like curious fans are about to find out soon.
