Actress won’t be in time to marry before Chinese New Year
the proposal in Paris organised by her boyfriend, Chinese actor Chen Xiao, 28, moved her to tears.
Chen Xiao had decorated a Seine cruise boat with fresh flowers and pink silk, and even had a white figurine of Xiao Long Nu, a character Michelle played, created with 3D printing.
The actress said she was moved by the gesture but didn’t feel like she was about to cry just yet. “And then I turned around and saw the figurine, and my eyes started tearing,” she said. “It was a great surprise, and I know he must have spent a lot of effort planning it.”
