Michelle Chen shows off post-baby body

Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen showed off her stunning post-baby figure for a photoshoot done for the August issue of InStyle China magazine. The 34-year-old, who welcomed a baby boy last December, looks to have shed her pregnancy weight as she modeled a series of outfits for the magazine.

The romantic studio shoot showcased Michelle’s sensual side. The new mother posed on the floor in a white lace skirt and brown overcoat, one of the five outfits she wore for the shoot, and the outfit was made complete by a pearl necklace, which accentuated Michelle’s womanly curves.

Michelle also showcased her slender limbs in another picture which saw her wearing a white blouse teamed with a puffy tulle skirt.

The outfits of this photoshoot was designed to be very minimalistic and simple, with a basic colour palette, to emphaiss Michelle’s womanly silhouette and her ladylike looks.

The actress was criticised for being “too chubby” to play Xiao Long Nu (Little Dragon Girl) in the Chinese adaptation of Return of The Condor Heroes in 2013. She met and eventually fell in love with her husband and Chinese actor Chen Xiao on the set of said drama series, and they tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in 2016.

Michelle is currently set to make her acting comeback in the upcoming crime film, A Rain Cloud in the Sky.
